2015 Jayco Precept 31UL Outside Radio Issue

I have a 2015 Precept 31UL and recently my outside radio, located next to the TV, stopped working. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what is the fix?

Thank you

I have the same unit as you no issues but check to make sure the front face plate is attached correctly. There is a release button on the right front side to remove the face plate. Remove and reinstall. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response. I have tried that several times and it is seated in properly.

Does anything on the radio work? Light? Anything at all? May just be a blown fuse, or possibly a loose wire somewhere in the rat's nest that you'll find behind the unit.

Mike, no lights come on, on the radio itself. I was thinking it may be a fuse but I have no idea where that fuse would be. The TV works fine. I really don't want to pull out the radio because I am sure it is a rat's nest of wires behind it.

The radio should have a 12 volt fuse on a panel, either a chassis fuse, or the main power panel. TV is 110 volt, no fuse for it.

Ok, thank you. I believe the one fuse box is under the main bed and I will have to search for the other. Thanks again

Look for disconnected or loose wires behind the drawers in the bedroom. You may have to remove the drawers one at a time until you find the wiring bundle. Sometimes drawers grab the wires and pull the connection out when you use the drawers.

I have a 2015 Precept 35UP. My outside radio did same thing after it swallowed my cd. Dealer replaced entire unit with a Furrion model. Everything still under extended warranty.

I know this is late but might help someone in the future. I had the same issue and there was a blown 5amp fuse in the house battery compartment. When you open the door it is o the left/ I changed it and everything works like new.
