2015 Precept 31UL electrical outlet

On my MH I noticed an outlet next to were the power cord come out of the top of the electrical bay. Is this on all Precepts and if so what is it for or what do you use it for? Seems like an odd place for an outlet.

suggest you read the reviews on the big online retailer that starts with a "A". Mixed results.

I plug in a led rope light to go around the perimeter of the motor home for a soft night light. After a Christmas light timer /photocell dusk to dawn.

It has seemed to work for us so far....we also have the smaller ones plugged in inside. We live in the woods, so we use a multiple plan of defense by using ultrasonic, Cab Fresh, and never leaving any foodstuffs on or around the motorhome. If you already have mice, the ultrasonic may not be enough to chase them away.

I use mine for water line heat tape. also hang ac trouble light with 60 watt incandescent bulb in the water service compartment to keep all that stuff from freezing. ps. when I say freeze, I don't mean hard freeze. I mean between 20 and 32 farenheight for short overnight periods. Always disconnect from shore water when sub freezing is expected.

I'm with Tim. Use a small drop light and run underneath to water compartment. Has six foot cord.
