I'm not familiar with front shades, but I would check for current and binding. The fuse in that circuit would be a good place to start.

Welcome Mac0671. You'll find a lot of info on this forum. OnTheGo certainly has you pointed in the right direction. Fuse, wiring connections at the shade and back of switch is where I would start. Our 31 UL did not come with electric (or manual) windshield shades so please provide some info on what you have and if possible a couple of pics. Next spring, I'll be getting serious about DIY install with Carefree of CO.
Good luck and let us know.

There's also a wire sensor that hangs from the top of the shade at the corner above the driver side. It's a black wire about 4 inches long. I'm not sure how it works but when I'll got my 2015 31UL the shade wouldn't go all the way up. The dealer adjusted that sensor and it has worked fine ever since. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
