2018 Jayco Alante 31P

Hello just joined forum and are looking to possibly purchase a 2018 Alante 31P. Just wondering if anyone has one and could give some feedback. I like that it has the bunk over driver and has a trifold couch. Also does anyone have a rough CCC number. The dealer is saying Jayco Rep said 2500 lbs. It looks like a nice RV for the price. Would you be worried about flat spots on Tires seeing it's a "NEW" 2018.Thanks everyone.

We bought a 2018 Alante 31V in April and the tires were no problem at all (except the leaking rear valve stem extensions that we replaced with rigid stems).

But take a flashlight and old clothes and crawl under the coach you want to buy. Our chassis and suspension parts were completely rusted (now fixed by the dealer) but it would be easier to get this done before delivery (or take another discount for such damage).

We own a 2017 31P. We are very happy with this model. Great layout for us.

Thanks for reply, do you know what the CCC is for your 31p. I'm hoping for at least 2000 pounds.

Sorry if I'm not asking question correctly, still figuring out terms. But when I had my Jayco trailer I had a label the said CCC. I think it's a white label with VIN number and other stuff, next to drivers seat Thanks again for your replies

CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity), used Sept 2000 – present, means GVWR minus the following: UVW, full fresh (potable) water weight (including that for the water heater) full LP gas weight, and SCWR. Note: Remember that optional accessories or equipment not included in the UVW will take up part of the Cargo Carrying Capacity.

Example of Cargo Carrying Capacity computation on a Motorhome Vehicle Weight Information plate:
GVWR 22,000 lbs.
Less UVW – 16,000 lbs.
Less 20 Gallons Fresh Water x 8.3 lbs. Each – 166 lbs.
Less 16 Gallons Propane x 4.5 lbs. Each – 72 lbs.
Less SCWR (4 x 154 lbs.) – 616 lbs.
Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) – 5,146 lbs.
