31V Awning shade

Ok, the 2021 31V awning is 23’ wide, what others get/think?

Maybe a Tentproinc RV Awning Sun Shade Screen 9' X 22'3'' - Black Mesh Sunshade UV Blocker Complete Kits Motorhome Camping Trailer Canopy Shelter - 6 Years Limited Warranty?

I’m assuming that’s the exact one you got? The one w/ the 9’ drop?

This is up there on my list of wants. One place we are (hopefully) going in August can be brutal in the afternoon sun on the awning side.

I don’t own one (yet) but if your awning is electric (which I think it is) you should be able to unzip the bottom and roll the awning up w/ the insert still in place.

It just slides in the open groove. I have a solera electric and it worked fine with it.

What awning do you have? Can you attach a pic of the end cap?

10ft awning...9'3" shade
12ft awning...11'3" shade
14ft awning...13'3" shade

and so on.

The shades are 9in. shorter than the awning they're intended for to account for the end caps. Your awning may claim it's 16ft. but it measures 15'3".

Tentproinc. is what I have.

If your awning is high, like on a fifth wheel, you may opt for one that's 10ft. high, not the 8 footer. I have two awnings, one on the slide and the main. The slide awning takes a 8ft long shade. The main takes a 10ft awning.

The accessory groove should be open on the rear end cap, at least it on ours. The end caps are under some stiff spring tension.

I agree. Sometimes, depending on awning manufacturer, you may have to bring it in a touch or out so you have a clear shot. Otherwise, you may have trouble getting it by the end cap.
