88 Octane Fuel for F-53 Ford V10

Anyone used 88 Octane in the F-53 Ford V10 Jayco Precept 31UL? Any comments about the outcome? The book says up to 15 percent ethanol is OK

87 Octane should be fine. 10% ethanol is ok, but 15% you should find an owners manual for that or call the Ford dealer who knows.

Avoid 85 octane as is sold in Denver and some areas. It will work in emergency but is bad on the engine long term use.

My employer has a large fleet of F450's with the V10 in them. We are NOT allowed to fill up with anything but Regular 87 octane. My old company truck has almost 100k on it and someone is still driving it. We have a guy on our crew that has 198k on his 2013 and it's still going. No engine issues at all. Keep the oil changed and drive it.

I try to use non-ethanol 91 octane when ever i see it. Difficult to find. All my lawn and snow blower engine run so much smoother.. V10 is less noisy, possibly valve train noise/knock under load.
