I'm not sure that there is a better performing filter, its a 6.8 V10 engine right? I think they draw plenty of air from the factory air box. Does 5 Star Tuning make a tune for the class A engine? That would be where I would start and finish looking, if it were mine. Aftermarket air filters tend to be a gimmick 99% of the time. Unless you are adding a free flowing exhaust and some type of other upgrades, an aftermarket K&N filter doesn't add much more than noise.
