Alante 31V - Rear Ladder?

I inquired with my dealer about adding a rear ladder to the Alante 31V. He said that it is not a factory option, and Jayco doesn't offer an after market. He had not responded if I have any other options. I'd rather have a nice looking ladder on the back, instead of buying a tall ladder I'd struggle to store at home. Has anyone installed one safely on the 31V?

We have. Jayco provided us with the rear support braces schematic. There was some confusion as to whether or not the schematic showed the support braces from the outside view or the inside view. At any rate, a Jayco Redhawk ladder was installed on the rear passenger side (the installation took two attempts, as the first set of holes were drilled in the wrong location and missed the support braces). I have been up and down this ladder more than a dozen times and it appears to be very secure.

Can you share that schematic with me?

Hi,
Can you send me some pictures, please.
I already got the schematics from Jayco for my 2016 Alante 31.
Best regards

We also wanted a ladder and purchased a 12.5ft telescoping ladder on Amazon for about $150. It easily fits flat in one of our large basement storage compartments on our (31V). I use it on nearly every trip.

We added a ladder to our 2016 26AY, got the rear wall diagram from Jayco and had a nice ladder installed. The Jayco diagram's are shown from the INSIDE of the coach, so mirror image from outside looking at the rear wall, my guy put it on the wrong side 1st time, made them install another one on the passenger side,(no charge) use the other for hanging my window cleaning ladder on.
