Altante' 27A 2021 saga continues

Hi All,

Here's a new one....my front drop down/roll up curtain/shade is molting (the best I can describe)...or melting or something. We wipe down the dash, control panel, steering wheel...everything in the front....and a day later everything is covered with white 'dust'...the same color as the curtain/shade....Jayco says "We've never heard of that, please send pictures.....here are the pictures...if you zoom in you'll see what I'm speaking about......any clues? And it's not like we sit there putting the shade up and down all day or anything......thanks in advance...."another one for the list"...Dave

I wonder if its something used to keep the curtan from sticking to iself when its rolled up... Have you tried to wipe the curtain itself and then see if it continues?

Jayco customer support just suggested I get it replaced under warranty. Maybe wiping it might help.

I’m at my wits end with this rig.

Just curious. Are you sure it’s coming from the shade and not the ceiling above?

Yes, you would think.... my feeling is if it is some type of protective coating, wiping should stop it, but if its the material degrading, then it should continue, then it may be evident where the issue is.
