Ants!

Picked up ants in Texarkana! In coach and compartments. Any suggestions?

Odds are the nest is way back behind you. If that is so then spraying or using a bug bomb would work. Also, wipes to pick up any walking around spraying the compartments. Also have to get inside closets, etc.

Check every piece of food outside of the fridge and inspect.

If they have made a nest somewhere in your RV then little bait stations like Andro will have the workers carry it back to the queen and kill the nest.

Use Terro ant bait, it’s naturally and and attract the ants. Works great!

X2 on the Terro. I also bought some concentrated liquid ant bait and paint it on seams and places that they can travel or hide.

Mix 6 tablespoons of sugar with 1-cup of water until dissolved(heating the water will speed the process). Then add 10 to 12 tablespoons of BORAX to the sugar water. Sit until BORAX is dissolved. All the material should be dissolved, and the solution should be fairly viscous.

Application: Pour some of this solution onto small pieces of carboard, and put them near the areas where you see the ants. Replace these pieces of cardboard every other day until you no longer see the ants.

The borax recipe is almost exactly the same as the TARO solution that you buy in stores.

This stuff works like a champ either inside your camper or outside around it! I've tested it in multiple states including where I live in Florida, and it really clears the ants out. However, if the ant are red ant, RUN !

You were correct nest and queen must have been left behind. Few shots of ant spray in heavy concentration areas and natural life span seems to have fixed the problem. I was sure worried for a minute that this was going to be a drawn out issue.

I use 20 Mule Team borax powder available at Walmart and a lot of other stores as my Borax source.

It also works for storing the RV or seasonal residence. Take a few tablespoons of borax powder (20 mule team) and spread it inside as a light dusting, like a baker would on a cake or something just inside the door. Any multi legged insect crawling through it after coming in the door will die. Non-toxic to humans or pets. Clean up with a broom, mop or dust rag in the spring.
PS add a few drops of orange juice, honey, jelly or whatever you have to give the borax mix of Johnscavone and they will come to the bait faster. Just a tiny bit of flavoring helps.
