Bed length in Precept 31UL

Could someone advise if the queen bed in the Precept 31UL is a short length queen or full (80") length queen. I'm considering buying one but all literature thus far only says "queen bed." Thanks much.

It is the short bed -- I believe it's 76".

Just replaced ours. Its a short queen, 74". Can not be any longer or slide will not close right since its foot end hits the cabinets.

Thanks Shirley. At 6'3" a short queen won't work for me so I'll scratch this one off my list. Larry

Larry, I was given an extension piece for the bed which fits between the head board and the mattress which adds significantly to the comfort of the bed for taller people. It removes easily for bringing your slide in. Look into it. I’d hate to see you pass on a rig that otherwise fits your needs and taste.

Check out the 35S. It has a full length King. 72" wide by 80" long

Lots of bonuses in the 35S over the 31 UL. Handles better too.

Bob, where did you get your bed extension? I am interested in acquiring one?

DW, we got it from our dealer when we bought the Precept. Think it works fine. I'm 5' 10" and fit just fine without it, but we do use it when we winter in Texas. Their available on line from $ 65-$ 75. I've seen some people that made there own. they used 1.25 density foam, but you could use whatever your local fabric store has in stock. Tell them that you want to make a piece of foam that’s 60″ long (or as wide as your bed), 7″ tall (or as tall as your mattress) and 6″ wide (or however long you want your bed extension to be). It fits at the top of your bed so no need to support anything. We store it away in the closet when traveling because we can't close our slide with it in place. I hope this helps.
