Carpeting the driver and passenger area

Our 2018.5 31 UL does not have carpeting anywhere in the coach. My wife and I have purchased some throw rugs for here and there and are no looking for something to put up front by the driver and passenger area.

Has anyone come up with something good, other than a piece of carpet?

Our 17 Precept 35S came with carpeting up front, which may make it a little quieter but, we would have preferred no carpeting like they did on the 18’s. We have a small one when you enter the steps, one in front of the kitchen sink and one in the bathroom. Our driver side large slide also has carpeting under the sofa area, as well as the passenger side bedroom slide. Different strokes for differ folks!

Buy a piece of carpet remanet and use double sided carpet tape. Easy and simple to switch out should you ever want to.

Yeah, I agree with this. I bought indoor/outdoor carpet to line the bottom of all the exterior storage areas and used that to carpet the area between the driver/passenger seats. Also put a medium shag in the dinette seat storage and underbed storage to deaden sound and provide some padding for items stored there.

I have not had good luck with dbl-sided tape with the outdoor type carpet as the back is too fuzzy to hold well. Store recommended carpet glue but that would permanent and I don't want to go that route.
