Ceiling fans

Anyone installed remote ceiling fans in living room and bath. Looks like I need a ladder any time I want to open them to use. 21 precept 34g
Thank you.

You don't mean the big house-style ceiling fans do you? You mean something like a Maxxair fan w/ a remote? The fan in ours has a wired remote. I suspect you're going to need one w/ a wireless remote. AFAIK - Maxxair makes them.

Should be an easy swap.

2 ceiling fans, one in living are, another in bath. Both have to be opened manually on a steep ladder. Then the fans turned on by a wall switch. A little research and after market fans with remote are available that fit rvs. Open hatch, various speeds, rain sensors. Save an old man from climbing a ladder. Lol.

We have a 2020 Precept 34G. I swapped out the living area Fantastic Fan for a MaxxFan Deluxe 7500. This has 10 speeds, allows air to be blown in or out and has a temperature control - which is great at night - it turns off (and back on) so it doesn't get too cold. I then took out the bathroom fan and installed the Fantastic Fan from the living room - way more powerful than the little bathroom fan. It's so powerful in the bathroom we leave it on the low setting and only change it if we're airing out the entire RV. Really moves air around now very well.

Exactly what I need, thank you!! My wife can’t reach the knob in the bathroom when it’s most important to do so….
