chassis battery drain

Getting ready for last trip I pulled Jayco Precept 34G into shed for overnight till morning. Left residential refrigerator running as usual except I forgot to plug the MH into shore power, so it was running off batteries overnight. Should not have been a big deal. In the am the house batteries and the chassis battery were all dead. Why would it have discharged the chassis battery. I thought they were isolated from each other. Is something not working right?
