My coach came with 2-6 volt. Need replaced. Should or can I go with 4-12 volt or 4- 6 volt. Advantages either way

Everything I have read indicates 6 volt golf cart style batteries last longer in RV service. Because that is what they are built to do.

If you got the bucks, AGM and then more bucks lithium do better.

Yes but with lithium you will use 12v batteries.

The two 6 volt batteries will be connected in series to provide 12 vdc for your coach. If you choose to install four 6 volt batteries you will need to connect two batteries in series as they are now, connect the additional two batteries in series and then connect the two sets in parallel to give you the added capacity.
If you choose to use 12 volt batteries then they all would be connected in parallel. Four 12 volt batteries will take up more space (and add more weight) than four 6 volt batteries. It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. It always comes down to money, space, weight and wants so figure out what’s best for you.
