Cockpit Temperature Control

Driving our Alante home the other night, it was about 34 degrees out, and I noticed that the heat coming out of the vents was warm but not hot as I thought it should be as the temperature control on the dashboard was all the way to the right (clockwise).
I turned the temperature control all the way to the left (counter-clockwise) and did not notice much difference in the air temperature at the vents.
The cockpit heater in our Class C would roast you if you would not turn the temperature back, and considering our Class A has the same engine and all it would similar.
First thing I thought of is that the control knob got disconnected some how?
Any thoughts?

When we do a temp change it takes awhile to feel it on our precept. Unlike your former class c, jayco made the dash and firewall wooden area. There are many feet of hoses to go to your heat and a.c. Some people have found a hose disconnected or crushed under the dash. We just wait awhile and the temp changes.
