Cold Water

Hello! Just joined the forum and looks like there's lots of great advice and hints from other RV owners. We recently upgraded to a 2020 Jayco Precept 31UL and love it EXCEPT we can't get HOT water even with no cold water running. Luke warm only! We'll be taking it to the dealer for some minor warranty items but wonder if anyone else has had this problem and may have a suggestion on how to remedy it. Thanks!

One guess is that the bypass valve for winterizing is open, allowing cold to mix with hot. You'll have to find the access panel to your hot water tank, and check which position all three valves are set. The middle, or bypass valve should be closed.

ensure outside shower faucets are turned off - cold water will bleed over to the hot water and it will never get beyond Luke warm
