Door lock

Having problems with door lock on precept perstiage.Having a problem on adjustment.

We may need a little more info than that. Adjustment? Bolt is off center? Bolt does not engage? Key does not turn?

You have to push in on door to get to work.You have to slam it to get it to close.To get out of RV you have to pull on door hard.was at dealer twice and this is the second door lock.

Could you adjust the striker itself. It sounds like it needs to be ground down a bit on the front edge, with a Dremel tool.

My rig did that. After putting good quality grease on the striker pins and the grooves of the striker plate, the lock and door worked a lot better.
