EQ smart level system

How do you get the EQ-smart blue tooth to pair? The app gave me no instructions like the website said it would. I have always used the auto level and manual, putting on snap pads tomorrow and would like to use the app.

I would private message RustyNuts as I know he recently installed the bluetooth remote and likes it. Cheers

App has the instructions. My iPhone and the app sync’d up with no issues. Turn the system on and open the app. The app will pickup the system and after scrolling down to connect you’ll be asked for a pin.

Are you sure you have the Bluetooth enabled system?

Made installing Snap Pads a breeze.

I replied to your message. The only thing I can think of is did you put the system into pairing mode that it mentions on page 13 of the manual?

Appreciate your response, but the system never shows up in the app to pair it to. Yes I do have the Bluetooth enabled system (2020 29S). Have checked the phone also to make sure it wasn’t the issue, and tried another device none of which showed anything to pair it to.

The issue is that the app never finds the system, the “find device” stops searching without results

You got a manual with yours? We did not and never got the thing to connect.

We'll try again when we get her back... *some* day.

I contacted support and they are sending out a new UI. I never did get it to connect even with the help of the lead tech at Equalizer.

Reset Bluetooth

Take off the control panel and disconnect the connectors on the back. Wait a minute or so, then reconnect and put everything back. Try again. It seems sometimes the BT gets "confused" and needs to be reset. Worked for me, YMMV.
