Furnace and 2nd Thermostat

We uncovered Buttercup and I have been going through the systems to make sure everything is ok for whenever we end up camping again. We have 2018.5 31UL with two thermostats. When using the hallway thermostat, I cycled through all of the different functions, but specifically Heat Gas. The furnace comes on and heats (there is hot air coming from the floor vents in the bedroom as well).

All good, shut it off and then move to the bedroom thermostat. Cycle through all of the functions, but when on Heat Gas nothing happens. Don't recall this happening before but not sure if we used it on this setting.

Not sure what I am missing. Any thoughts?

Do you have 2 A/C's? Then the second zone might be the A/C only, because in the first zone you have heat in the bedroom

The furnace is controlled by the main Tstat.

The 2nd is ac/fan only for the unit nearest to it.

My 2016 31ul has ac/heat thermostat in the hallway. The heat controls the gas furnace which vents all over the motorhome. The thermostat in bedroom is actually on/off and only controls the rear ac. Not furnace.
