Furnace while driving

Question I have is does anyone run there furnace while driving with the winter weather up north here l notice that the cab heat dosen’t cut it. If you do how to you do it thanks

The answer is yes and has been covered. You might try the search feature in the gold bar at the top of the page for previous threads on the furnace, the generator and the fridge running while traveling.



There are some cautions about open flames when fueling.

There shouldn't be any reason you couldn't run the furnace since it is 12 volt. The only item that could cause a problem would be the thermostat. If you have an electronic version you are good to go. If you have a mechanical one you may encounter problems when you turn corners and the mercury switch "sloshes". I think those old thermostats use the ancient mercury switch. Maybe not, just remembering the very old days.
