Furrion TV sound

We have a 2017 Precept 31UL with the Furrion TV on the televator. The TV sound is bad. We have the Pioneer sound system, but only static comes through from the TV on AV or AUX. Also only one of the JBL speakers is working with the radio. Any suggestions? Repair for current system? Soundbar?

Please check if the RCA cables from the sound out on the Furrion are connected. Also if those wires go into the mixer below, which is what allows the surround sound speakers in the roof to act as such.
On my 17 35S, the cable was connected to the Furrion, but not to anything else. As a sidenote, the remote receptor on the Furrion died and I was obligated to purchase a new replacement unit. Had to go through a TCL and a Samsung before finally finding the Sharp which was the one with the right VESA pattern that would also fit inside the televator cut out.
Good luck!

The Dumb Jensen TV that came with our trailer was basically crap. The celing speakers sounded ok with the Jensen.

However, SWMBO* allowed me to buy a better TV so bought a Samsung Smart TV. Hooked it up in place of the Jensen, but the Samsung speakers sounded better that the ceiling speakers.

This might be an option.

My Furrion has modified user settings available through the on screen menu. But totally agree with a modification of sound bar. Good Luck.

Please do as palms suggested and check the cables. Jayco is notorious for having loose cables/connectors. All my elevator coax connections were not even crimped. Also check that the cabling is not getting hung during televator operation. We installed Bose pc speakers that are pointed to the couch. Much better than rear firing tv speakers. There's an electric plug in tv compartment to plug it in.

Thanks for the replies. I did find one of the speaker wires was never connected in my ceiling JBL speakers. Working fine now. But I am having trouble trying to trace the RCA lines on the tv. Anybody know where they are suppose to connect?
