Gift ideas please?

Aloha RV’ers,

My 30 y/o son is a new proud owner of a 2021 Precept 31UL. He sees this as a “mainland home” to stay and socialize in while he snowboards for a couple of weeks at a time in the winter and occasionally in the summer for golfing. He mostly has 1-3 friends staying w/him, hosting meals and hangout time.

Since he’s mostly spending time indoors w/others I’d like some big and small gift ideas please.

-what his RV doesn’t already come with
-up to $200
-indoor
-for cooking, hosting, socializing or relaxing
-popular accessory
-easy storage or fits or attaches easily
-or websites that have accessories?

We have a teardrop clamshell ourselves so our camping style of hosting outside and with tiny battery/storage/everything doesn’t help me think of indoor enjoyments for RVers. Hope you can help, even if what not to buy, lol!

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State!

Some items that came to mind, if he doesn't already have them, are non-stick pots and pans, melamine dishes and bowls, acrylic tumblers and wine glasses, and BBQ utensils if he grills outside. There's always bed sheets, towels and washcloths. Extra length of RV water hose.

We have some really nice "unbreakable" wine and shot glasses/tumblers in our trailer.

Soundbar for the television. OK ones can be had for less than $100 and good ones are less than $200.00. RV televisions have horrible sound.

I would get him a grill. Many great days in the snow where you can pop out to cook a steak or fish.

I'd get the Solo Bonfire ($200 or less). We have one and it fits perfectly in our 31UL storage bay.

Another idea is an Instant Pot to quickly make chili, stews, etc.

Or a Blackstone griddle -- we have the 22" size and it also fits perfectly in storage bay. We added a hard cover that works well.

I was say a gas grill. IMO I think a gas grill is more versatile than a griddle. Here's a nice one I saw that is all stainless steel but still portable. I saw it on a YouTube channel. If you enter in the code ilovervlife you get a small discount.

Welcome to the forum!!
