Girard Tankless Water Heater

We just purchased a Jayco Precept. We have a Girard Tankless water heater. Does it run on propane, do we have to take our RV to a propane dealer to fill it up when it becomes empty? Thanks Lorraine

Yes, it uses propane from the main tank built into the coach. It will not use much and if you only use propane for cooking and hot water the propane tank will last a long time before needing refilled.

If you camp in cold weather and run the furnace, you will have to fill propane often. There is a gauge on the main tank that is easy to see. This gauge is float operated so it is accurate when read on level ground. (or coach is leveled with on board system)

Most, not all, dealerships will fill your propane tank for delivery. It is easy to refill once you need more and many campgrounds have propane trucks that come and fill you in place.
