Heat Safety Alerts

Does anyone use a devise that will advise your iPhone if the temperature goes out of range in your RV while you are gone and your pets are inside? I have seen a couple of ads for some devises but no details on subscriptions or how long these products have been used. Any help will be appreciated.

We use a couple of Blink cameras inside connected to wireless verizon myfi device. it uses our cell phone data. Blink can be set to send you a alert on temperature. They motion activate or you can manually activate and peak at your dogs. We even mount one outside when we set up camp to watch knuckleheads who steal from campsites.

I use a nimble monitor from RVPetsafety. Check out their website @ rvpetsafety.com. Let’s me set the highs and lows, works over cellular service and sends alerts via email and/or text to your phone. Even let’s you know when it loses cell service and battery status.

Thank you! We've been looking for something like this.

We also use the Nimble, it also lets you know when you lose contact with the device so you always have confidence it's working.

I use this: https://tempstick.com. Works well as long as you have good WiFi.

... all of which assumes that you're camped somewhere with cellphone coverage. :-)

We use a LaCrosse weather station with remote temp sender. It connects via Wi-Fi to our Verizon jetpack and sends both inside and outside temp and humidity to our phone. Hi/Lo alerts can be set for both sensors. I don't need video, I need to know if the AC is working or not. Works very well and no issues in a year of use.

We do boondock where there is no service, in that case we do our running around in the mornings and be sure to leave a front vent open and turn on the power fan on the rear one. But we are back before it gets too hot and spend the rest of the day with our pets. The custom snap on sun shades for the front 3 windows really help in keeping the interior cooler, I highly recommend them.
