Heated mirrors

I have heated mirrors on my 35UN and can't tell which position is on or off. It is lit up both ways. One way there is a light shining out one end also. Any help?

For some reason we have yet to figure out, Jayco is wiring the switches this way - always light on? If you are good with DC power it is easy to figure out and change. If not, just ask the dealer to change it when you go back in.

The second part of the question is pushing the switch forward, towards the windshield, would be the "on" position for heating the mirrors. Rocking it back is the off position.

Just between you and me , , , if I need to de-ice the mirrors, I ain't goin camping!!!

Having heated mirrors aren't just for de-icing, they also help de-fog the mirrors which can happen anytime

Yep, that's true about fog. I saw some pics of fog online before but never here in the desert!! I still feel the same about fog as I do ice - - I ain't gonna be driving a motorhome in either.

What I was referring to in the mirrors fogging up is it can happen in the rain not just Ice or fog conditions and being you wouldn't drive in the ice or fog conditions I would think you do drive in the rain The heat also helps keep the glass dry
