Jayco Precept 31UL sway bars

I just bought a used 2016 Jayco Precept 31 UL. While looking under it today I noticed it had sway bars on the front and back of the rear axle. It doesn’t have a steering stabilizer but drives perfect. I also found a receipt for adding a leaf for the rear springs. Do they come from the factory with sway bars on the front and back?

That looks the same as my 2020 31UL. Looks like the shocks aren't original though.

The shocks are Bilsteins.....our 2017 Alante came with them on.....I have since replaced our front Bilstein shocks with Konis.

I would have guessed/thought the rear was a add on because of the blue brackets at the end of the sway bar. The front defiantly looks OEM/stock from Ford.

Agree with Mark, the sway bar on the read of the axle is likely an auxillary rear sway bar and aftermarket.

Ok
Wasn’t sure if it was stock from the factory as part of the J Ride suspension. I was going to add the safety steer but I drove it from Florida to NC and it drives great.

J-Ride is nothing more than a marketing gimmick from what I can tell. It's normal Ford stuff, balanced drive shaft, sway bars, plastic jounce bumpers, etc. Just like any Ford F53.

I might add none of it works very well or we wouldn't be adding improved shocks, Sumo springs, rear trac bars, steering stabilizers, etc.

Here's a video explaining from Jayco. https://www.jayco.com/products/class...pt/jride-plus/

The air brakes and cushions mentioned are only on the diesel pushers
