LCI Electronic Level System

Having an issue with the auto levelers
On my 2017 Precept 35s. On auto level the jacks lift the wheels of the ground, sometimes just the front but once lifted the whole coach off ground! I did a zero level calibration and it worked fine a few times but today as I did an auto level the front wheels again left the ground. The site we're in is fairly level to begin with. I ended up doing a manual level. Anyone else ever have this issue? I will try another zero level calibration tomorrow and try another auto level and see what happens.

Ok so did another zero calibration and tried the auto level two times and it worked fine. Will just have to keep an eye on it. Stay tuned.

Here is the series of steps from the manual. I got it perfectly level manually (checked with a 2' level both ways) then did these steps:

Level Zero Point Calibration
Before auto-leveling features are available, the Level Zero point must be set. This is the point to which the system
will return when an auto leveling cycle is initiated.
To set the zero point (controller module must be fully secured in production-intent location), first use a carpenter's
level to run a manual leveling sequence to get the vehicle to the desired level point; then activate the Level Zero
point configuration mode.
This mode is enabled by performing the following sequence:
1. Turn panel off. Then turn panel on.
2. Perform the following:
• Press the Front (Fig. 5J) switch 5 times.
• Press the Rear (Fig. 5M) switch 5 times.
3. At this point all LED outputs will blink, and the buzzer will be off.
4. You are now in IDLE mode ready to set Zero Point.
5. With a carpenter’s level, confirm coach remains in level disposition. In IDLE MODE, the leveling system
is in MANUAL MODE and can be used to make any corrections to level the coach.
6. When coach is completely leveled manually, press the Retract All (Fig. 5P) switch 3 times to set the zero
point.

Check your manual to be sure it is the same system. Or you can go to the LCI website and look up your particular system. Hope this helps.

You would think that once it is set that should be it. I have had to do it twice now. We will see how long it lasts this time. Will keep you posted.

Another question should you calibrate with the slides out or not?

I did it with slides in. After its level I put the slides out and recheck level. Any adjustment needed can be done manually

After numerous calibrations by myself and my dealer 60percent of the time there will be a wheel up in the air. I leveled the coach manually then mounted a round bubble level on the drivers window frame. After a little practise I can level the camper faster than auto level and haven't put a wheel in the air yet. A little more money and I coulda got a prevost.

Do you know where the fluid reservoir is located for this system?

Its in the same compartment as the battery tray (to the right of the batteries). You'll see the pump and hydraulic lines going from it. The reservoir is directly behind the pump.
