There's a bunch of options out there. I've found trying to get opinions on what mattress is good is a mixed bag of results at best. If you look at mattress reviews anywhere you'll see a wide range of ratings. Basically you buy one and hope for the best lol. Here's one option.

I replaced my Short Queen with a Zinus, since have bought 2 twins for bunk beds and one for grandson. Plus King for home. If it fits, go memory foam.

I've bought several mattresses (queen and bunk) from Mattress Insider. Super happy with them. They'll custom make just about any size.

The Linenspa mattress is so comfortable! I bought the two inch version and am very happy with it. I sleep on my side and used to get hip pain from the hard mattresses. My only complaint is that it gets warm from body heat. But it's like sleeping on clouds, everything is compatible.
