Motorcycle lift

Has anyone installed any kind of motorcycle lift on the back of a Precept 35un?

What motorcycle? Do you need a lift for a 600+ # bike or will a hitch carrier work? I have a hitch carrier for my Yamaha R3 but use s trailer for my FJR1300 since at 620# is exceeds the tongue weight capacity of the installed receiver.

For an 800# Road King. I have seen the ones that have the lift, and realize that the current hitch will have to be replaced with a three point with greater capacity. Just looking to see if someone has done this and if it has affected their steering or any other issues.

The added weight especially with your rear overhang is definitely going to affect the handling of the coach.

Yep, I'd wager that any company who makes a lift would tell you it is NOT recommended. You need a DP to use a lift for that

I would look at a trailer of some type rather than a lift. I have an Alumna brand trailer that is all aluminum and less than 300#, I can roll it around the yard. I used it numerous times with my RK behind my truck. Hardly knew it was there. I realize a trailer can be a hassle in terms of backing up or finding a space for it while traveling, but IMO it would be much easier and safer overall to use a trailer for an 800# bike.
