Moving up the Captain's Chair

2018 Precept 31UL. I'd like to get my seat a little closer to the steering wheel than the currant adjustments allow. Does anyone done any modifications for this?

I did a search for "can't reach the pedals" and got a few hits... Here's the search. The first hit talks about unbolting the rail and moving it from the pedestal.

The base has an offset to it, 2 1/2" if I remember correctly. Turn the base around and you will be closer. A bunch of people on the Facebook Precept and Alante group have done this.

I unbolted the seat from the pedestal, 4 bolts, drilled new holes about 2 inches forward and re-installed. Has worked fine for the last 4 years.
