Non-slip Liner for Basement Storage

While I like the tough material used in the basement bays, it's pretty slippery and items slide around. We have some shelf liner on the inside drawers and cabinets, but that stuff is very flimsy, and bunches up pretty easily. Thought about carpet scraps, but the potential for moisture, mold and mildew is pretty high. Astro Turf? What are y'all using to line the floors of the bays?

Thanks,
Mickey

I installed 3/4" plywood wrapped with a rubbery shelf material. Now my storage bays don't have saggy floors and nothing moves around.

Vicr - thanks - so what's the "rubbery shelf material" that you used?

I've got something like this in our basement:

I used these across the pass throughs.
They are slightly short and narrow for the space in my 2020 31UL but nothing in there, an aluminum folding ladder, lawn chairs, etc., seems to be moving around.
I would imagine that they could be cut to fit for compartments, if desired.

The Precept storage bays are notoriously saggy. That's why so many of us here and on the FB Precept and Alante group use plywood with a non slip covering.

I used these from Harbor Freight. https://www.harborfreight.com/4-piec...set-94635.html. You can't beat the price and nothing has slipped since I started using them. I also like the extra padding, rather than using a rug or mat.
