OBD Port

Does anyone out there have a picture of what the OBD Port looks like on a Alante 29s.

All OBD ports are the same... see pic I pulled off the internet. You didn't say your year. They do have OBD II ports, but would be a similar pic. Here's a link for more info: https://obdstation.com/difference-obd1-obd2-scanners/

OBD Port

Ok what I’m trying to do is find the damn thing. I have looked under the dash and someone said it’s on the right side under the cowling but I can’t find it.

On my 2021 Precept on a Ford F53 chassis, it's about 10" to 12" left of the steering column, left of the parking brake, pointing down to the floor mounted under the dash with a black plastic cover on it.

Odds are it'll be in the spot where Ford put it. I think I read that by law they have to be close to the steering wheel.

On our Ford E450, it's dead center below the wheel. On our cars, they're usually behind a door or pop-off panel.

The closest I’ve come so far is the fuse box and that’s the only cover I see.

Damn I saw that and thought it was part of the braking system. Kind of a strange place to put it. Will have to check it out tomorrow, my back has had enough for today. Thanks to everyone that replied, I really appreciate it.
