Outside TV

I have a 2015 Precept 35UP.
Problem: outside TV does not work with cable connection or roof air antenna. It only works with the radio/dvd/cd player. Is this normal? Seems it would be tough to tailgate with this rig.
I am second owner. Previous owner never used outside systems.

It sounds like the outside cable is not hooked up, I would start at the nearest working tv outlet and remove it from the wall or ceiling and see if there's a splitter behind it. The wineguard amplifier with the switch has two cable connections, one side could be bad, if the outside cable is connected to it try swapping the two.

I would start at the unit above the inside TV. I had to take my entire thing apart and rewire. They had in's in out's and for the outside TV they had the red audio RCA connector in the video input. Real mess on the TV wiring.

I would start with jayco motorized customer service. Have the VIN number available and let them know you purchased it from the original owner. They may help you with original schematics which would help to know how it was at least intended to be wired.

Which HDMI connection is it set to? Check to see if the HDMI setting is set to the radio/dvd/cd. There should be one HDMI for TV and one or more others set to accessories. Go into settings on the TV and to sources.

I contacted their motorized people and this is what they had sent me for my 31UL (I know it says Entegra, I assume they were the same, they never responded when I asked them that). Maybe help you out?

Yea this is the schematic that I got from Jayco and uploaded to this forum, it won't work for his 35UP, the floorplans are completely different. Still would recommend contatcing Jayco with you S/N and see if they will give you something.
