Overhead bed

I have a 2018 Percept 31UL and the overhead bed will not come down. I buckled and unbuckled the safety belt on top and flipped the switch several times, but nothing. I opened and closed the slides in the hope that these are interconnected, but still nothing. It is the first time that I wanted to use it, although I believe the salesman did work it at delivery, although I cannot be sure. Any ideas? Where would the circuit breaker be for these things?

Thanks for any ideas. Otherwise I will look for broken wires, but I will have to get the wiring diagram from Jayco and that will not be fun to diagnose. I know that it is still under warranty, but my dealer is 100+ miles away....not worth the hassle just for this. I am sure there will be more things to break before the warranty expires (I already had a loooong list that was previously addressed over only a few months of ownership!!!).

1. Is the key out of the ignition switch?
2. Is the key for the bed in the on position before you push the button to lower the bed?
We have a 2018 31UL and when I forgot to do either of the above the bed wouldn't lower.

As stated by 1955farm be sure key is in and in on position and safety belt unbuckled. Also with mine, I had a wire that pulled out of a crimp connection in the wires that go up and down with the bed. The wires are bundled in a vinyl cover with velcro on left side of drivers seat under the bed. Also maybe a fuse? Good luck.

Thanks for the ideas. Yes, the key is out of ignition and I know about the lock on the bed, but will check the wiring and fuse. Always something....

I have the same problem with a Precept 31UL. On line today with Lippert for two hours. They emailed me an Owners Manual and an OEM Installation Manual. My next door neighbor is an auto electric expert. Spent several hours with test equipment to diagnose. Motor is getting 11.5 volts and 1 amp power so it will not work. Wired direct so it will go down, but not up. Need to change polarity to get it to go up. The manual override requires an allen wrench at the top of the motor to get it to go up or down. Works good with a drill and socket. Tomorrow we will try to go in the drivers side window to get to the back of cabinet to see if the connectors are loose in the fitting attached to the back of the cabinet. If there is some connection between the batteries and the motor that is loose, we will try to wire direct in the cabinet and the motor.

2019 Precept 31ul overhead bed worked at delivery and didn't when we got home. I found the fuse under the rear bed and the 15 amp fuse was blown. I noticed on the diagram on the breaker box door that it should be 20 amp. Confirmed with Jayco that #16 should be 20 amp. Replaced and no prob so far.

Checked the # 16 position 15amp fuse in the breaker panel at the corner of the bed. Fuse was blown, changed and bunk now goes up and down. Still trying to figure out why the dome light above the bunk and the one in the bottom of the bunk won't turn on.

The light above the bunk will not come on unless the bunk has been lowered completely. It’s connected to a limit switch which prevents its operation if the bunk is only partially lowered.
