New rv'r here. Is a tire monitoring system recommended. A usual trip would be 1,000 miles in a day and a half to Texas from California

I have had two motorhomes over 4 years, and the very first thing I did after taking delivery was to install TPMS, which I personally feel should be standard equipment. I use the Tire-SafeGuard system. Transferred same system from first to second MH. Trouble free and accurate. Flow-thru sensors.
