Precept 31UL Water leak after de-winterizing

We followed manufacturer instructions to winterize and upon de-winterizing realized water was leaking from under the refrigerator. We’ve isolated the leak to the fridge water line by shutting off the valve under the fridge. We think when blowing air through the lines the water connection to the refrigerator came loose. It’s months before we can get into the dealer for a repair so we’re considering trying to get to the back of the fridge ourselves by taking apart the wall.

Has anyone else had this problem and/or have any experience accessing the back of the refrigerator? This is a 2021 Jayco Precept 31UL.

Had that happen on a fridge in my house. We pull it out a few times a year to clean coils, etc. behind it. After a few years the plastic pipe just gets brittle. Consider replacing the whole line while you have it out with something better than that thin, semihard plastic if you can.

Access to the water line is below the fridge, behind the panel; at least that's how ours (2020 model) is.

And welcome to the party! Powell - is that Tenn.? We're just down the road in Townsend.

Same thing happened to us. We were hit by the BIG FREEZE in Texas in 2021. I had everything winterize, I thought, and then came spring and we were readying for a fun camping season. That's when it happened, during the de-winterization, a water leak under the fridge. Ok, long story now short. The manifold on the icemaker was the culprit. It took *^*&*^*&^ RV shop 4 months to DX, order, receive, and repair the problem. All's good right? I picked it up, service advisor showed me it was working properly, everyone happy, and only our about $200. Well, got it home and started to load the freeze, the AS&(*&(&( RV dealer forgot to put a bushing in the top of the freezer door.
Moral to the story, check you stuff carefully before leaving, they don't care.
Sorry so long..................

PS Some have just turned off the water value and used bagged ice and bottled water.
