Precept 31UL Wiring Question

Mornin', All!

Enjoying our 2020 Precept at Deer Run RV Resort, Crossville TN. Great facility, by the way!

I noticed a purple wire with a shrouded pin connector hanging down above and just behind the power step. It's not hooked to anything. Anyone have any clue as to what it's for?

Thanks,
Mickey

Thanks - am looking for wiring diagrams. May be able to track it down from there.

I added the .250 ma fuse to this and a light appeared under my step.

Thanks - I wondered about that, but there's already a light there; a very dim orange light.

But I'm curious about the fuse size and how you added it. There's only the one wire hanging down...

It might be to the little light on the right in the step area inside the coach. The light only turns on when the screen door is opened. It does not come on when the main door is open only the screen door.

Not sure about that. That light on ours is controlled by the exterior light switch (Light #1).

My purple wire was half of a fuse holder. I found the other unused half in the understep wiring and added the appropriate fuse.

AH! OK, thanks! Will take another look under there. And you said ".25 ma fuse" - not sure I've heard of one that small. Where did you find it? And where is the light switch?

Sorry for all the questions!

That's a 1/4 amp fuse. I'm not at the coach so can't say if it's a long or short fuse. You'll have to match to the fuse holder. Not sure which switch as used as it's automatic.

Thanks - will check it out next time I'm at the storage facility.
