Precept Dash Panel

I am trying to remove the dash, so I can add some wiring for a cigarette lighter of all things - power my Garmin.

I believe the dash panel is held in place with Torx head screws, so I purchase a small set and come to find out, I didnt get one small enough, or so it seems. Does anyone know if these are sure enough Torx screws and if so, what size? I also tried some small allen wrenches, but no good with that idea.
Many thanks for advice

Not sure if your's is the same as my '22, but some of the panels on mine are fastened with small security torx screws, it's a torx with a small pin in the center requiring the bit to have a hole in the center. My coach came with the proper driver bit to remove them in the bag of manuals and etc. You can also by security torx bit sets relatively cheaply.

Many thanks for the response.
Never thought to check the two bags of Jayco literature.
I somewhat determined yesterday that they were in fact the torx security type, so I ordered a set from where else - Amazon.

Not sure which Precept you have but when I remove my doghouse I have all kinds of access to 12 volt wiring. There’s even some existing 12 volt wiring to add stuff. Good idea to put what type motorhome/camper in your signature so we can help better.

I was having a hard time finding a good spot for the gps monitor, windshield to far away, could'nt use dash cam when on console. The dash where the accent lights are a bit ribbed and would'nt hold suction.
I got a piece of plexiglass and 4 new slighty longer screws, seems to work well,
will road test it tomorow.
By the way the screw heads are torx t-15 security

Guys, thanks for all the helpful replies.
And yes, I updated my profile to include year/type of MH

Meantime, I appreciated the tip on the Torx Security screws as that did the trick. I took out the front dash and radio to find all kinds of wiring,
Traced back and unconnected 12vd heavy gauge wire and used it to add in the cigarette adapter, CB Radio and Trak4 tracker. All good to go and so happy to now have a working Garmin RV.

I mounted the cigarette adapter on the upper dash to keep the cord short.
The 12 source is HOT when the key is on and for a few minutes when you shut the engine off which is perfect for these applications.
Thanks again gang

Can you post a photo of the result?

I will do so when I can get back to my MH which is now in storage until my next camping trip early July...will try to remember to do so.

I thank to guy who tipped me to the Torx security screws - never noticed that tiny pin in the middle before.

Why not just buy a USB adaptor?
