Precept stabilizer springs

I have a 2018 31UL and noticed that it does not have those helper springs on the hydraulic landing gear like other manufactures have. Does anyone else have these on theirs? Do you think they are needed and if so has anyone added or modded theirs with them?

Thanks,
Glen

Are you saying your jacks do not have the retraction springs?

I have a 2018 and it does not have the retract springs. The pump and cylinders are two way, pressurize the top of the cylinder to extend, and pressurize the bottom to retract, no springs needed.

If you don't have springs then the hydraulic system retracts the piston. Look at each jack and you should see 2 hoses, one to extend and one to retract.

If you have only one hose and no spring then they would never retract.

From my mining days I would prefer hydraulic retract over spring retract. If the system is working correctly hydraulic retract should be quicker and more positive. Spring retract on my coach takes a while for the rear jacks to fully retract.
