Propane

I’m still new at this but I’m wondering how do you fill the propane tank? With the 5er I would just take the tank out to get it refilled. With this one it’s not that simple.

You drive to where they sell propane and they fill the tank. RV dealers, Propane supplier, many U-HAUL dealers, some truck stops.

Along with Grumpy’s list most private RV parks can also fill propane tanks. My propane service fills mine when they fill my 500 gallon tank at the house.

I suspect you have a MH. Just drive up to your favorite propane filling station, and the_ will pump some more in for you. No more lifting of tanks.

One point of note on a motorhome. When you pull up to a propane filling station make sure your propane tank is on the side where the filling station is located. In most locations it is against the law for them to run their propane hose under the coach to fill a tank. The turn arounds in some of these locations can be difficult if you do come in from the correct direction for filling. I have had a motorhome with the LP tank on the driver's side and the last 2 have been on the passenger's side. Driver's side has been the most challenging at times.

And don’t let the 18 year old kid tell you he can’t fill it because he can’t find a certification date on the tank like he was trained.....permanently mounted tanks don’t need to be certified like portable tanks do. Finally had to google it and then he showed his boss before they filled it
