Propane outlet

My 31UL has what appears to be a propane quick release valve above and to the left of the propane tank. I am unsure how this is to be used. Is this an outlet that I can use to feed propane from the main tank to a BBQ grille or is it an inlet to be used for attaching a supplemental bottle of propane to augment that in the primary propane tank? In either case must the hose to be attached have a regulator? Where to buy a hose. Thanks.

If this extra connection is on the high pressure side of the RV's regulator, then you can add a high pressure hose to virtually any gas grill. I made that mod on my last TT and it was great!

You'll have to get the numbers off the quick disconnect to find a properly matching connector. Then the proper hose to handle the 150+PSI that is in the bottles.

These quick connects are typically for the optional outside barbeque grill and are after the regulator so you don't need one on the grill. If you use an aftermarket gas grill such as the coleman you would need to eliminate the regulator on the grill. The flow of LP will be so little it would take for ever to cook a hot dog. The hose and fittings can be purchased at your dealer or even a good hardware store.
