Hopefully by now you've figured out what that hose is for. If you haven't, and the hose has a male connector on one end and is cut open on the other end, then that hose is for siphoning anitfreeze fluid when you are winterizing your unit. The idea is that you screw the hose into the city water inlet and your water control system will syphon the fluid into your fresh water system when it is configured for winterization. The open end of the host would go into your antifreeze container(s).

Well thanks for that..no I hadn't figured it out yet, but I live in the south so I haven't had to winterize the rig yet. Glad to have the answer now for if/when I do.

Might want to stay away from these;

https://www.newegg.com/p/0PP-03WW-00025

RV dealer installed back in Aug. 2021. My passenger rear outer dually leaks and driver side inner dually leaks only when valve cap is removed.

Getting them all replaced later this month. Hopefully just a bad batch.

I use the ones from Phoenix, purchased them off Amazon. The reviews were mixed. Some people had leaks. I myself have had them on for over two years with no problems. Maybe just luck like you stated or maybe they are a bit better? But I don’t regret doing it, our next RV will have rims with solid stems and not simulators!
