Resale value West Coast vs East 2017 Precept 31 UL

We bought our Precept to snow bird and loaded it to the gills and all the upgrade with every extra possible plus lots of other item like car towing, Safe t plus, tracking bars, ladder etc. so that it would handle well and not have the problems others report. Huge difference. Kept it pristine with covers on sofa etc. it’s a cream puff

Came from PA to AZ and now decided to move here and so don’t need the coach for snowbirding!!! Going back to a little RV for weekends.

Rumor has it that people pay more for coaches in CA And less in the Midwest? If we don’t get a private buyer and decide to trade wonder which direction we should head out to shop. Was thinking of going to Iowa but if the RVs are a dime a dozen there not sure if it’s a good plan

Going to post AD here and RVtrader to see if we get any bites locally. What has been your experience trading a unit like ours.

Since most of the RV mfg plants are in the midwest, you would have about $3000 in delivery charges (+-) just to get the RV to the West. I don't know the percentage of RV's owned East Vs West, but I would think it may be higher in the West, just due to all the open spaces and National parks located within a few days drive. The vast majority of Federal lands are in the West. We have found prices higher in Colorado than here in Az for used RV's also... again due to the demand in Colorado where ownership seems to be higher.

All that being said, best time to sell in Az may not be the same as the midwest. Also at the end of the snow bird season there is a glut of Class A''s and C's for sale, as your not alone in deciding to purchase a stick and brick here. The consignment lots are filled with A's and C's that the folks no longer use, mainly due to age and health.. Timing is important as it is with most things.

Good Luck
