Looks like mold to me. You may have water behind the exterior skin.

I’m doubting it is mold. It runs the entire length of the coach. Also it appears to be rust.

I just had $15,000 in water infiltration repairs done to my coach (under warranty). I also was able too see it and have the custom coach repair/restore/fabricator show me and in detail explain to me how the water got in after he had torn apart my large slide and bedroom ceiling. Water can do amazing things like wick uphill. When I saw the coach apart the only steel materials used were fasteners all the other materials were all non-ferrous. Whether you have mold or rust you have a water issue. After 2 years of dealer fixing water leaks and then the big job done by a professional I have learned a lot about these coaches and water infiltration and damage. I also happen to live in a very rainy area and with all the water issues and fixes I have become very versed with these problems.
