RV Supports

I have a need (ability to run refrigerator) to level my RV in our driveway as it has a slant. I need to raise the front end about 12 inches which I believe I can do with the hydraulic levelers. I know I can buy pads to put under the front tires to take the weight off of the levelers but I would rather build something on my own. Does anyone have a tire support design that they can share?
TIA

Some 2x10's or 12's would work fine.

I had to make a special ramp for one side of my TT, to park in my driveway. Unfortunately, my TT is in winter storage and the ramp is stored in the TT.

Here is an image of my blocking at my old place. You will see in the middle board is not continuous, it helped to lighten the unit, and gave a good hand hold. I cut the ends of each board about 45 degrees, and gave a step point so the weight is on the board before trying to push up the next board. I screwed the boards together with deck screws.

In your case I might add a stop block just so you know where/when your up on top.

The photo in Jagiven's post in very similar to the platform boards I had made and carried with our previous TT. It works well and IMHO is worth taking up the space to carry them with you. Since we primarily boondock (camp off grid away from any built up amenities and/or campgrounds), we regularly end up setting up in a place that is less than level. I have had to have my front end (or rear end) pretty high a time or two. When having to level on uneven ground one of the most important factors is to make sure whatever you use for supports is very stable. Good luck.

This, cheap, easy, and darn near bulletproof when using treated lumber

I bought some 3/4" thick rubber horse mats at Tractor Supply and cut them up in 1'x2' and 1'x1' pieces for leveling our previous Class C.
They are virtually indestructible and worked well with the Class C but I never tried to stack up anywhere near a foot high and I kind of doubt it would have worked ?

Now that is scary. I would want a lot better cribbing under it.

Humm, that is an Australian model.

I have the same issue in my driveway. I made up a couple sets of blocking using 6”x6” treated timbers bolted together as a base and then screwed 2”x10” treated lumber on top. This raises the front end of my coach about 8” and gets it pretty close to level so the fridge works just fine and I can put the slides out.
The size of my pads is about 18”x24” and they are heavy. I use a hand cart to move them back and forth when setting up and taking down and store them in my garage when not in use. I only use them when parked in my driveway. I don’t typically boondock so I’ve never had a campsite where I wasn’t able to level with the hydraulic levelers. I do carry a few individual pieces of blocking if I ever needed to put something under the jacks.
