Salt Air

We may store our Precept for periods of time on the Oregon coast a block or so off the beach. I was wondering whether the coach is protected at all against beach conditions? Gel coat? Any advice from others near salt water and drifting ocean mist?

My 5er is kept in my back yard, 100yds from salt water marsh for 5+years. Only thing I do is wash it often and inspect for problems. Keeping it out of the sun when stored is the best thing to prevent damage.
