Slide out allows air in when extended

Has anyone noticed this? I haven't seen a thread regarding this but I have an Alante 31P. I removed the sofa bed and when I went to clean under the slide out base the was a lot of sunlight coming through. I would estimate the opening about 4" by 15". I know the slide out mechanism needs room but this seems a bit large. Anyone have comments about this?

Sounds like the rubber seals didn't get installed.
