Slide Out Motors Out of Sync?

Bedroom slide, small slide.
Motors work, but not at the same time and it gets kinked and then stops. Pulling on a side sometimes helps, but it's getting worse. Nothing wrong with the slides, lubed fine, no binding, no loud bang noises.
Technician says the motors are out of sync, he tried to sync them, but says they need to be replaced. Is that true? Does this happen often? Is there no way to sync them without replacing them?
He is a very trustworthy tech, I just like to know from others what they think.

There seem to many techs who don't know much about Schwintec systems.

That's surprising, as they have been around for over 14 years.

I had this same issue a couple of times and I think we figured out we were causing it. When we were opening or closing, I think we were anticipating the stop location and letting off the button before it was fully opened or at the limit. We started just keeping the button pushed until it stops itself, maybe 1-2 seconds after it stops, then let off the button. No issues since.. weí basically keeping them in sync this way. We still open it part way sometimes to reach something , but they get resynced on the next cycle anyway 😊
