Slide out... no response... ideas ???

I believe if you cut that vinyl flooring where the wires are coming through, you will see the motor like mine in this picture. It will allow you to release the brake so you can put a socket on and run the slide in and out.

you are correct... I cut 3 sides of the vinyl (4th side acts like a hinge) and there the motor was.

The mobile RV repair (i.e., Keep Camping Mobile RV repair out of Fletcher, NC) came yesterday. He/they were excellent and fit me into their very busy schedule.

Anyway, it was a ground issues. Ron fixed in 30 min's.

Nice to hear its resolved Mark... you're right though, the more we know about these things the better we can fix them/deal with issues when we're in a tough spot. This forum never seems to disappoint in terms of collective knowledge.
